Our story
Founded because good support should not be a lottery.
Daniel Johnson spent fifteen years inside corporate IT departments watching the same pattern repeat: the company grew, the technology did not, and the provider who was supposed to help sent an invoice for the privilege of not fixing it. In April 2016 he registered Lios Technology Group in Austin with one client, one laptop and a rule that has not changed since — every client gets an engineer whose name they know.
Ten years later the firm is eleven people. We still work out of downtown Austin, we still take on roughly one new managed client a month rather than chasing volume, and Daniel is still on every discovery call. Two thirds of our new business comes from referrals, which we treat as the only marketing metric that matters.
We are not the cheapest option in this city and we do not try to be. What we sell is predictability: published response targets, fixed monthly costs, documentation you own, and the ability to leave with thirty days notice if we stop earning the relationship.
